Formal Invitation Ceremony to Observe Vassāna Retreat

On Sunday, July 19, Ritesh and Sharika Shah, the principal sponsors of this year’s Kaṭhina ceremony, will formally invite the venerable monks to observe the Vassāna retreat on behalf of the entire congregation.

11:00 am – 11:30 am: Offerings (Buddha-puja)

11:30 am – 01:00 pm: Dana and Pot Luck Lunch

01:00 pm – 01:15 pm: Invitation for Vassāna Retreat

01:15 pm – 01:45 pm: Dhamma Talk on Significane of Vassāna period

01:45 pm – 2:00 pm: Blessing Service with Pirith Chanting
